At Tenacore, we understand the significance of ultrasound, toco, and leg plate transducers in the labor and delivery department. These cables monitor the baby’s heart rate and the strength and frequency of the mother’s contractions. It is critical that these transducers function properly to ensure a safe and healthy birth.
Our trained technicians currently repair transducers for the following monitors:
- Hewlett Packard/Philips
- G.E./Corometrics
- AMS/Spacelabs
Because we manufacture and assemble parts in house, Tenacore is positioned to repair or replace (if necessary) most fetal transducers. In the event we replace OEM components in a fetal transducer during a repair, we do not use recycled parts. We use new parts designed by our in-house engineering team. They are equivalent to their OEM counterparts in form, fit, and function. American Society of Quality (ASQ) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards are followed throughout our entire repair process.
Every fetal transducer we repair is a subject to rigorously testing before leaving our shop. Ultrasound transducers undergo testing of the amplitude of each piezoelectric crystal. Toco transducers are subjected to a sensitivity test using precision weights which measure the electrical output of the transducer in response to a specific load. Final performance evaluations also include a final test on an OEM monitor.
Repairs are generally in house for 2-3 days. We guarantee your fetal transducers to work for six months after service and guarantee cost savings in comparison to OEM repair pricing.
