Tenacore’s vacuum safety overflow traps are designed to be light weight, reducing stress on wall outlets, and durable. The polystyrene bottle and ABS lid can be cleaned with Cidex®, or 100% ethylene oxide (EtO) sterilized. DO NOT USE EtO/ CFC MIX. DO NOT AUTOCLAVE.

Should a collection canister overflow or be incorrectly connected, any liquid will collect in the trap bottle before getting to the suction regulator. As the fluid level increases in the trap bottle, the float will rise and seal off the inlet to the suction regulator, preventing aspirant from fouling the suction regulator.

Replacement parts for overflow safety traps are available in kits of 5 of each part. If fewer than five pieces are required we recommend purchasing complete trap assemblies. Replacement fittings are also available; all are sold individually, and have 1/8” MNPT connections. See ordering information below.
