How
and why do wall suction regulators break?
They often break due to improper
or rough handling (most often from the nurses). If one is
dropped, it usually breaks either internally or externally.
We can almost always repair the wall suction regulator regardless
of its problem. Most hospitals find that it is more cost-effective
to repair their suction regulators rather than replacing
them. New suction regulators from the OEM vary-but can cost
up to $600.
